The roadmap of the third generation Peugeot 308 has been confirmed. The start of accepting orders for the updated compact Peugeot is just around the corner. The first deliveries will take place before the end of 2021. In turn, the family variant of the body, the new Peugeot 308 SW, will go to dealerships in 2022.
The new Peugeot 308 is ready to start selling on the European market. The opening of orders for the third generation of the popular Peugeot compact in the traditional five-door hatchback format will take place very soon, next June. The first deliveries to private customers will take place in the last quarter of 2021. In particular, in October.
Those interested in buying the new 308 will have at their disposal a range of three trim levels: Active, Allure and GT. In addition, an additional package is available for each of these versions, significantly improving the standard equipment. By the way, there are several components in the equipment of the new model.
The Peugeot 308 is equipped as standard with fully redesigned LED headlights, which are easy to recognize the common features of the new models of the French company. DRL shape imitates a tusk. The cabin features a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. The 3D version of the dashboard is available in GT and GT Pack respectively.
The line-up will include two 1.2-liter PureTech petrol engines with 110 and 130 hp and a 1.5-liter BlueHDi diesel with 130 hp. For fans of electrification and sustainable mobility, there will be a choice between two plug-in hybrid variants with 180 and 225 hp. More powerful hybrid mechanics will only be available on the GT and GT Pack.
A little later, the new Peugeot 308 SW will appear on the scene. The new generation 308 will retain the well-known family alternative offering practical benefits in its range. In this case, the opening of orders for the new station wagon 308 SW is scheduled for September. Deliveries will begin next year, namely in January 2022.
