Buyers of the compact 4.2-meter crossover Audi Q2 will be able to equip their car with an RS Line body kit. This option will only be available in the Chinese market, which follows from the certification documents. The model will receive original bumpers, a new radiator grill, and stylish rims will complement the exterior. Ultimately, the Q2 RS Line will look more aggressive than the “warmed up” SQ2, although the modest 1.4 TSI turbo engine will remain under the hood.
At the moment, the factory RS Line package is an option that is not available for any Audi model. If the decorative body kit is in demand in China, then a similar “upgrade” can be offered in other markets, and not necessarily for Q2.
In the published photos, the RS Line package includes silver mirror caps, branded two-tone five-spoke wheels, a front bumper with enlarged air intakes, as well as a rear bumper and an updated radiator grille with copious amounts of chrome.
The RS Line package is decorative and technically does not provide for modifications. In the Chinese market, the Q2 RS Line will be powered by a 150hp 1.4-liter TSI engine mated to a 7-speed preselective robotic transmission.
