The Japanese automaker is adding a new version to the Forester order list. It should be noted that the Subaru Forester Sport looks a little different than we are used to.
Lovers of off-roading, all kinds of extremists and just travelers know that the Subaru Forester SUV is, first of all, a car with which you can “storm” the wildest terrain. Forester Sport puts an end to the latter, because this version focuses mainly on looks.
Various chrome and silver accents in the Sport have been replaced with black ones, including 18-inch wheels, radiator grille surround, window moldings, skid plates and side skirts. The black plastic is accompanied by orange accents throughout, including the railing supports. However, unlike other Sport versions, the side mirror housings are painted in body color.
The orange theme continues in the Forester Sport interior. The frame for the climate control panel and the air vents are now orange, as well as the stitching of the seats, door cards and the dashboard. The interior of the Forester is stripped of silver parts, giving way to black overlays and elements. At the same time, any selected body color from the base palette (Dark Blue Pearl, Crystal White Pearl, Crystal Black Silica, Magnetite Gray Metallic, Ice Silver Metallic and Sepia Bronze Metallic) is accompanied by orange and black accents.
Technically, nothing changes, which means the Forester Sport is powered by a mild hybrid four-cylinder boxer engine with 150 hp. Subaru dealers sell the Forester Sport starting at 60,995 euros. This makes it as expensive as the current top-end Premium version, which uses similar hardware.
