The prototype is a compact Roadster with a body of a Spider, created on the basis of a hatchback Scala, which replaced the European version of Rapid model. The latter got the features of the prototype of the Skoda 1100 OHC 1957.
The car is equipped with 1.5-liter gasoline turbo “four”. The capacity of the unit is 150 HP and 250 N·m of torque. The motor works together with semidiapazonnym “robot” DSG. In addition, serial Scala concept borrowed front and rear suspension, all electronics and wiring, as well as the driver assistance system. Digital instrument panel and multimedia system also remained unchanged.
In total, the project involved 31 student of the Academy of Skoda, which at the initial stage of development were asked to portray their ideas about appearance of the car on paper. The final look of the car claimed the chief designer of the Czech brand Oliver Stephanie.
