Skoda continues a teaser campaign dedicated to the updated Karoq. A week ago, the manufacturer published the exterior sketches of the crossover, and now it has shown a half-minute video that allows you to take a closer look at the changes that have occurred in the exterior of the model.
Following the larger Skoda Kodiaq, which was refreshed earlier this year, the Karoq will receive matrix lighting as an option. After restyling, the head optics will remain two-level, while the main headlights will become a little narrower and acquire a “sill” at the bottom, accentuated by LED daytime running lights. The shape of the foglights and taillights will also change.
In addition, “Karok” will be equipped with a hexagonal radiator grille in the spirit of the Indian Skoda Kushaq, redesigned bumpers, new design wheels, an extended rear spoiler. In the video, you can also see the roof with rails and an optional hatch, 4×4 nameplate at the stern.
The interior is still classified, but big changes are not expected there – as well as in the motor range. In particular, it is probably known that Skoda, which has taken a course on electrification, does not yet plan to turn Karoq into a hybrid with the ability to charge from the network – despite the fact that this is an extremely important model for the brand: in 2020 and the first half of 2021, it was inferior in terms of sales. only Octavia, and since the premiere in 2017, over 500,000 Karoks have already been sold worldwide.
The full premiere of the updated Skoda Karoq will take place next week, November 30, at 11:00 Kiev time.
