Some photos of the BMW 8 Series Gran coupé 2020 model year hit the Internet ahead of its debut later this month, revealing the details of the exterior and partially interior.
In front of the body you can see the familiar performance of the headlamps and grille on the wings clearly visible vents, and a whole lot of elements were moved from the coupe, although the sedan got a longer wheelbase and two additional rear doors.
Among the other highlights worth noting, aggressive side skirts and a slanted roof, integrated rear spoiler, a subtle rear lights and exhaust system with two tailpipes.
Photos of the interior turned out to be indirect, but it is logical to assume that the 8 Series Gran Coure will receive new three-spoke steering wheel, 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and 10.25-inch infotainment system along with the traditional metallic accents in the cabin, and leather trim.
The power plant will be transferred from the coupe and convertible, so expect a 3-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine with 320 horsepower and 680 Nm, and a new 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 that develops 530 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. Later they will join M-version with the same 4.4-litre V8 with 600 horsepower and 617 horses in the picking Competition.
