Electric Vision-S, developed by Japanese Corporation Sony is getting ready to go on road tests. In a new video the company showed a prototype of the movement, who arrived in Tokyo to finalize.
Previously, the concept was already released on the road Graz – then preparing the machine involved in the company Magna Steyr, on the platform which is based on the Vision-S. New road test Sony plans to perform before the end of this year.
Concept Vision-S was presented at the consumer electronics show CES in January. The car received a number of promising technologies, including autopilot with 33 sensors and audio system with surround sound and speakers installed in the seats.
Almost immediately after the premiere of the representatives of Sony stated that the electric car was assembled as a demonstration of technological capabilities of the company and will not start in the series.
Sony Vision-S is equipped with a twin-engine electric propulsion issuing up to 268 horsepower. Claimed acceleration from standstill to first “hundred” is 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 240 kilometers per hour.
