Lamborghini has officially unveiled the SC20 speedster. The carbon-fiber supercar combines the features of the Diablo VT and Veneno roadsters, as well as the Aventador J and Concept S. Under the hood of the first fully open model, an atmospheric V12 is installed.
The body of the Lamborghini SC20 is almost entirely made of carbon fiber. Thanks to the composite and technical nuances of the design, the first speedster of the company became an exemplary model in terms of aerodynamics. According to the specialists of the Squadra Corse department responsible for the construction of the car, the customer of the supercar took an active part in the development of the project from the very first drawings.
Painted in the Blu Cepheus livery, the SC20 speedster has a massive front splitter and front panel with ventilation slots that refer to the design of the Huracan GT3 Evo. In addition, the supercar is equipped with an anti-wing with the ability to choose one of three positions of the working plane. The speedster was shod in different-sized wheels with Pirelli P Zero Corsa rubber, and sports seats with leather and alcantara upholstery were installed in the cabin.
Under the hood of the Lamborghini SC20 placed atmospheric V12 6.5, the return of which is 770 horsepower (720 Nm). The same unit is installed by the Italian manufacturer on the Aventador SVJ. The speedster is equipped with a seven-speed “robot” and all-wheel drive. The dynamic characteristics of the model, as well as the cost, are not yet disclosed.
On the eve of the Network appeared the first image of the speedster Lamborghini SC20. At the same time, it became known that the one – of-a-kind supercar was built on the model of an earlier work of the Squadra Corse-the road SC18.
