Nissan is gearing up to launch the new Z sports car to replace the outdated 370Z in the lineup. The brand has not yet declassified the serial version of the model, but spies have already done so: the car, prepared for transportation, was filmed.
Along with the video on the Nissan Arabia profile on Instagram.com, photos of the car without camouflage appeared: it was captured from different angles and even looked into the salon. Judging by the pictures, the “commercial” version practically does not differ from the pre-production Z Proto, which debuted last fall.
Like the prototype, the production version is retro-styled with an eye on Nissan’s earlier coupes. For example, the front optics are a modern interpretation of the 240Z headlights, while the rear is a reference to the 300ZX from the end of the last century. According to unofficial data, the Nissan Z will be equipped with a three-liter V6 biturbo engine with a capacity of 405 horsepower. A couple of the unit will be a six-speed “mechanics” or an automatic transmission.
Production Nissan Z: there are no identification plates on the car, which would indicate its name, but the novelty is expected to appear on the market under the 400Z index.
Inside, there is the same three-spoke steering wheel as the Z Proto, a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a smaller multimedia screen. On the front panel, you can see three additional scales (a reference to 240Z), as well as ventilation deflectors located on the doors.
