Honda’s CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP sports bike has recently started a recall in the US, not for the longest name, but because of a problem with a very hot exhaust pipe. As a result of exposure, the cooling system tube can melt and literally burst.
The failure of the cooling system can lead to various consequences, so the motorcycle began to be recalled. It is not certain that motorcycles in other regions have the same problem, you should check with your dealers, as sportbike equipment may differ in the US and other countries.
According to the docs, overheating occurs under certain conditions. For example, if you move in first gear for a long time at speeds above 5000 rpm. In such conditions, a weak blowing of the exhaust pipe leads to its overheating.
The solution to the problem: replace the cooling tube and install a thermal protector between the exhaust pipe and the cooling tube. The manufacturer promised that all subsequent Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 2022 motorcycles will be equipped with such protection from the factory.
