Belonging to the Geely Group, Geometry is preparing for production of the new X Tiger electric crossover. The first photos have been made public by the Ministry of Industry of China.
It is interesting that this is a relatively small electric car, and therefore inexpensive. Recall that Maple and Lifan are responsible for the development of budget battery cars in the Geely concern. However, Geometry seems to be running ahead of the locomotive and trying to cover all segments at once. For example, the company has the Geometry EX3 Kung Fu Niu hatch, which is a rebranded Maple 30X. The expediency of strange reshuffles between brand models is not explained.
However, the Geometry X Tiger looks very different from all other electric cars that are produced under the wing of Geely. The novelty has a very bold and aggressive exterior. The front end strongly resembles the famous Robotface, which is found on XPeng electric cars. The stern partially quotes the FAW Bestune T55 crossover.
It is worth noting the extensive customization options. Various decorative elements in orange or light green can be installed throughout the body. Eyelashes on the headlights look especially cute, which visually create the image of an oriental woman.
The car is based on the already mentioned Geometry EX3 Kung Fu Niu. The power plant consists of one Grebo Intelligent Power Technology Co., Ltd. TZ160XS601 electric motor. It develops 82 horsepower. The maximum speed is 121 kilometers per hour. Curb weight – 1348 kg.
The timing of the launch into production and approximate prices have not yet been indicated. But, it is likely that the X Tiger will be cheap enough, which is definitely not very good for colleagues in the shop. For example, the price for the same Maple 30X starts at 68,800 yuan ($10,800).
