The press service of the Japanese brand has published a price list for the Subaru Crosstrek off-road station wagon version of the 2022 model year. On average, the price increases are not as large as one might expect.
Subaru just unveiled the all-new Solterra EV crossover in Japan, following the show of its WRX station wagon a month earlier, but if none of these practical family cars are to your liking, the Japanese automaker has plenty of other options. One of these is the Subaru Crosstrek, which is available in regular and hybrid variants. The 2022 version of the model will go on sale soon, and Subaru has just posted pricing for it. Fortunately, you won’t be paying much more for the latest station wagon, as both the hybrid and conventional model get only a modest price increase.
The regular Crosstrek will now start at $ 200, with a starting price of $ 22,445, while the hybrid model gets a slightly larger increase of $ 300, bringing the base price to $ 35,645.
As before, a $ 4,502 federal tax credit or up to $ 1,500 rebate offered in select states is available with the purchase of the Crosstrek Hybrid.
The Crosstrek Premium – one variant higher than the base model – starts at $ 23,595 and the Sport version now starts at $ 26,795. Then you get the Limited, which costs $ 28,295. The Crosstrek Hybrid is a standalone model with only one trim level that offers similar features to those of the Crosstrek Limited.
The base Crosstrek comes with a 2.0-liter flat-four developing 152 hp, while the Sport and Limited variants boast a 2.5-liter engine with 182 hp. The hybrid version of the model is equipped with a 2.0-liter engine and two electric motors. The total power here is lower than the base model with a rated output of 148 hp.
