Famous Japanese car brand Subaru has decided to stop shipping to the UK models with two-liter diesel units. In accordance with the upcoming stricter environmental regulations specific models of Outback and Forester will be allowed to use.
Perhaps, for anybody not a secret that cars with diesel engines have earned the brands a considerable profit on the world market.
Now, when tightened requirements for the power unit on the part of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, a significant part is fairly new in terms of development units remain below what is permitted.
Against this background, the Subaru carmakers wind down sales of models with two-liter diesel units.
Of course, the desire to make the world a cleaner is the right solution. However, this rapid change in the rules, there is a risk that some automakers just can’t catch.
Because some petrol units after the implementation of the WLTP will be deemed excessively harmful to the environment.
