Subaru takes orders for crossover Solterra


Subaru has opened U.S. orders for the 2023 Solterra electric crossover, the brand’s first all-electric vehicle, Carscoops reports.

From now until February 28 this year, a $250 refundable deposit gives you the chance to be one of the first to receive the Subaru Solterra electric crossover. The booking system gives customers the choice of interior trim, color and preferred Subaru brand dealer.

Several versions of the novelty will be available to customers to choose from: Premium, Limited or the basic modification of Touring. So far, only four shades are offered: “cosmic white pearl”, “elemental red pearl”, as well as “galactic black” and “smoked carbon”. Salon same Subaru Solterra is made of non-alternative black fabric. At the same time, the company has not yet announced the prices for the novelty, which should be published in April or May 2022, after which all those who booked the model will be able to complete the final deal. Deliveries of the new Subaru Solterra are scheduled to begin this summer.

Note that the novelty shares most of the body parts with the Toyota bZ4x model. Technically, the Subaru Solterra will also be no different from its “brother” and will receive a 71.4 kW / h battery, which gives a cruising range of 530 km. In addition, Solterra will acquire two options for the power unit: with one electric motor with a capacity of 201 hp. and two – with a return of 215 hp, providing all-wheel drive.
