The redesigned 2022 Ford Super Duty has had the chrome cut and a new infotainment system added.
Ford has unveiled a revamped 2022 Super Duty pickup with a number of new versions and some previously unavailable options. For example, the Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models can be equipped with the new Lariat Sport Appearance styling package for customers who prefer fewer chrome parts. It includes body-colored bumpers, front grille and mirror caps, as well as chrome tailpipe trims and black footpegs. Ford has also made a popular Black Appearance Package available for XLT versions. This includes 20-inch alloy wheels in black and body-colored bumpers.
The Ford Super Duty color scheme will be complemented by a new variant called Atlas Blue, and the interior colors will include Baja for the Lariat, as well as Navy Pier and Light Slate for the Limited models.
The biggest update to the Ford Super Duty pickups is the new 12-inch display for the SYNC4 media system. It has twice the computational performance of the previous system and has analog buttons for quick access to frequently used options.
SYNC4 Medisystem will be standard on Lariat variants and above. This system can be used in conjunction with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications, as well as SYNC AppLink. The system enables multitasking by dividing the display to simultaneously view navigation, listen to music, and control machine functions.
The range of the Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty engines has not changed. It includes a 7.3-liter V8 with 430 hp. and 645 Nm of torque, as well as the 6.7-liter V8 Power Stroke diesel unit of the third generation, which produces 475 hp. and 1400 Nm of torque.
