Toyota has announced the start of sales of OE parts for the Supra A70 and A80 generations. The sports division of Gazoo Racing will be responsible for the implementation. Parts will be available not only in Japan, but also in North America or Europe.
The first sales started in early March 2021. Back then, buyers could purchase the original headlights for the A80 generation sports coupe. Now Toyota has significantly expanded the list of parts available to order.
So, from July 2021, the clutch master cylinder, brake hose, brake pipes, heater pipes and buttons on the air conditioning control panel will go on sale for the Supra A70. An oxygen sensor will be available for the Supra A80. From August 2021, a front nameplate will be added to the list of parts for the A70, and later also side moldings, a rear nameplate, door trims and front lower arm bushings. Front bumper trims will be added for the Supra A80.
As the company representatives noted, the process of purchasing spare parts for old sports cars will be exactly the same as for any new model. The only exception is that spare parts will be produced in limited quantities and can be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis.
