Motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has announced the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 prototype, which is just a few months away from its official release. The motorcycle is in the final stages of testing before it is ready for production. It should be a serious competitor in its category.
From Triumph’s words:
“… the new Tiger will redefine the mid-weight sport-touring motorcycle category (with enduro elements) and set a new benchmark for specification, features, performance and style.”
The new motorcycle is developed on the basis of the Trident 660 platform, which, in turn, was created on the basis of the Street Triple 675. The bike is equipped with 17-inch wheels and a 660-cc engine that develops 80 hp. power and 64 Nm of torque. In this case, it turns out more of a road tourist than a typical touring vehicle.
