The head of Tesla, Elon Musk, brought a prototype of the Cybertruck electric pickup truck to New York, which has not yet gone into production. The top manager himself arrived in this city to participate in a popular television show, and the car itself was shown at that time in the local showroom of the brand. After that, the electric car was spotted on public roads in New York. The corresponding video was posted on YouTube.
Who was driving the pickup at the time is unknown. Musk himself has repeatedly appeared at various events behind the wheel of the Cybertruck, which was first shown to the public back in 2019. For example, not so long ago, an American drove this pickup truck to his company’s new plant under construction in Texas.
At the same time, the exact date of the launch of Tesla Cybertruck production is still unknown. The car is expected to be available in three main versions: with one, two or three electric motors. The initial version of the model with one unit will be able to accelerate to “hundreds” in 6.5 seconds, while the “senior” three-engine version of Tri Motor gains 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds. The declared power reserve without recharging, depending on the modification, varies from 400 to 800 kilometers.
In addition, Musk promised to finalize the design of the electric car, which caused a lot of negative reviews in the automotive community. In particular, the prototype of a new electric car was criticized for being overly primitive.
