Tesla does not have time to produce electric cars – too much demand!

Tesla officials shared information on how the production and sales of new cars are going. In the first quarter, 180,338 new cars were assembled, but in the second quarter the result should be even better.

It’s all about the rush demand for the brand’s products. Many vehicles still in production have already received reservations. At the same time, the final forecast for the number of cars produced per year has not changed yet.

Note that in the first three months of 2021, Model S and Model X cars were not sold – they were being updated, and stocks were sold out. Now the Model S is back in service. At the same time, the bulk of sales in the second quarter should come from the Model 3 electric sedan.

Note that in April this car became the fourth in sales on the European market and the only electric car in the TOP-10, confidently ahead of Renault Zoe and Volkswagen ID.3.

Nevertheless, Elon Musk is confident that the Model Y will be the most popular car of the brand in the future – it is not very expensive, it has a body that is popular today and a rich set of options.

Earlier it became known that the launch of the Tesla plant in Germany was postponed for at least six months. This is not the first time this enterprise under construction has been involved in scandals, so it did not work out on time.
