Tesla doesn’t slow down? Tell us this new Carbon Ceramic Model S Plaid

A set of original carbon-ceramic brakes for the fastest Tesla Model S was estimated at 20 thousand dollars. They are only compatible with 21 ” Arachnid wheels.

The Model S Plaid carbon ceramic brake kit “is designed for maximum comfort on the track,” Tesla said. It is a complete set of equipment to provide maximum repetitive braking force during fast driving.

The kit includes: two front (410×40 mm) and two rear (410×32 mm) discs, six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear, a set of brake pads, elements of the parking brake, as well as one container with high-temperature brake fluid.

The new brake kit is presented on the Tesla website. It will be on sale by mid-2022.

Model S Plaid is the most powerful and fastest model modification. In the USA it costs from 129 990 dollars, in Europe – from 126 990 euros. The electric car has a three-engine power plant with a total capacity of 1034 hp, picks up a “hundred” from a standstill in 2.1 seconds and drives 637 km on a single charge in the WLTP test cycle.

In September 2021, the Tesla Model S Plaid broke the Porsche Taycan Turbo lap record at the Nürburging race track. The American liftback covered 20.8 km in 7:30, 909 minutes – 1 second faster than its competitor from the German manufacturer.

Although it is definitely an unfinished replica, I would be interested in contact details, anyway. Maybe this could be an interesting project.
