Member of the Board of Directors of Tesla’s Steve Jurvetson posted a video in which electric car Model 3 passes through the underground tunnel and accelerates to 116 mph (186.5 kilometers per hour).
We are talking about the tunnel, which was built by the company Ilona Mask The Boring Company office between SpaceX and the suburbs of Los Angeles. On a plot a mile long (1.6 km) test Loop transport system – with its help, the entrepreneur wants to transport the cars on a special electric trucks at speeds up to 250 kilometers per hour.
Support for Boring tunnels will come in a future Tesla software update.
Just punch in your destination and your Tesla will automatically choose the best route through the tunnel network to get to your destination without stopping at up to 116 mph.
