The appearance of Elon Musk’s cars on the drag racing lane has not seemed strange to anyone for a long time. In the past few years, various Tesla models have repeatedly competed at 402 meters with a wide variety of rivals, including supercars and hypercars. And almost always they emerged victorious from these battles. Spoiler alert: In today’s race, a California electric car has taken over again. However, the fight turned out to be very interesting.
This time, the guys from the Carwow YouTube channel decided to roll out three modifications of the Model 3 sedan at once on the drag strip: a single-wheel drive Standard Plus (287 hp, 450 Nm and 1645 kg of curb weight), as well as a more productive Long Range (351 hp, 510 Nm) and top-end Performance (462 forces and 639 “newtons”). The last two have a couple of electric motors each. However, the weight is also higher – each “knocks out on the scales” about 1840 kg.
