Tesla Model Y passed the real “moose test” at a speed of 100 km / h (video)

A Twitter user posted a short video from a car DVR. The footage captured the incredible driving skills of a Tesla Model Y owner from China, who, in an unexpected situation, managed to avoid a serious accident. It is not known at what point the driver managed to take control, however, if he had not done so, the consequences for all road users could be catastrophic.

The footage shows that Tesla Model Y, having passed the intersection, is moving along the extreme left lane at a decent speed. There were no other road users ahead, so the electric crossover is gradually gaining momentum. Suddenly for everyone, another car appears in front of the electric car, the driver of which decides to turn right in front of the rushing Tesla. The driver of the electric car manages to sharply increase speed, slipping between two vehicles, and also bypass the bus moving in the right lane.

Considering the sharp acceleration, Tesla Model Y performed both maneuvers at a speed of about one hundred kilometers per hour. At the same time, it is not known at what point the owner of the electric crossover took over control. In any case, his driving skills miraculously avoided a serious accident in several vehicles.

At the end of 2020, a video recorded by Tesla Model 3 on-board cameras appeared on the Web. Electric vehicle systems filmed the road situation, during which the autopilot allowed Tesla to dodge a collision with a truck.
