Tesla will redesign the next generation Roadster supercar ahead of serial production. The head of the company Elon Musk announced this on his Twitter.
Musk was sent a video from the Peterson Automotive Museum in New York with a Tesla Roadster prototype. In response, the head of Tesla wrote: “The production version will look different (better).”
It is interesting to note that on the museum plate describing the model, it is noted that the Roadster in the top version with an optional package, SpaceX will receive compact rocket boosters operating on compressed cold gas. They will allow the electric car to accelerate from standstill to 60 mph (97 km / h) in 1.1 seconds. Not a single modern car allowed on public roads is capable of this, as the annotation text says.
Recall that back in February 2021, Musk casually mentioned that he plans to use the developments of his space company SpaceX in Tesla electric cars. Such technologies will allow not only to instantly accelerate, but also literally float in the air.
Earlier, Tesla patented a unique glass cleaning technology. This system includes one “wiper”, which with the help of an electromagnetic drive will be able to completely clean all the glass. The first model with such equipment will be the updated Tesla Roadster.
