It is expected that by 2025 about 40% of global vehicle sales will be electrified vehicles, and Audi is going to be ahead of global electrification.
Recently, the German carmaker to announce a significant acceleration of its roadmap for the electrification of the model range, and for only seven years, Audi plans to increase the number of electrified models to its lineup to 30, of which 20 will be fully electric.
This Audi is going to invest about 14 billion euros in technology, mobility, digital technology and highly automated driving, and will also release at least three models based on MEB-platform, co-developed with VW Group, as well as platform-based PPE, built with Porsche. In addition, it will create another platform for sports e-tron GT.
At the moment Audi are issued or are verified in a series of six fully electric and rechargeable hybrid five models. The first is the Audi e-tron, Audi e-tron Sportback, Audi Q2 L e-tron, Audi e-tron concept GT Audi A3 EV concept, Audi Q4 e-tron concept, and to rechargeable hybrid – the Audi A3 e-tron, Audi Q5 TFSI quattro 55 e, Audi A6 TDI e, Audi A7 Sportback TDI e and Audi A8 TFSI e.
