The big T90 is declassified!

One of the features of this car is SAIC’s own production platform.

The Chinese company Maxus, which belongs to the auto concern SAIC, will soon unveil its large pickup truck called the T90. This new product will take place a notch above the current T70 pickup. Note that the Maxus T90 is based on a proprietary platform. This makes the car radically different from most of the Chinese novelties that use the “carts” of their partners.

The new pickup, in addition to its large dimensions, will receive excellent off-road qualities. In particular, we note the presence of a rigid frame, four driving wheels, a reduction gear and a rear suspension adapted to difficult conditions.

As a power plant, buyers will be offered an uncontested 2.0-liter diesel engine, which has a large torque of 500 Nm. Depending on the selected configuration, a 6MKPP or a classic automatic transmission is used as a transmission.

The equipment of the car turned out to be quite rich – we single out a modern multimedia system, leather interior trim and all-round view cameras.

Officially, the novelty should be presented in the spring of 2021. Then the prices should be known.

Although it is definitely an unfinished replica, I would be interested in contact details, anyway. Maybe this could be an interesting project.
