The Chinese released a crossover with a strange design

Newly formed Chinese automaker Ziyoujia Motors has unveiled its first model, the Niutron NV large-class crossover.

Niutron NV is built on a platform of the original design, in which the possibility of using a purely electric or hybrid power plant (sequential type) was initially laid. Parts made of aluminum and light alloys are widely used in the chassis. The overall length, width and height of Niutron NV are 4915, 1950 and 1750 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm.

The highlight of Niutron NV is the Gemini power modules, which are the same for pure electric and hybrid configurations. This reduces the cost of cars. From the technical specifications, only the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h has been disclosed, and for a hybrid – 5.9 seconds.

But there is an opportunity to evaluate the exterior of the crossover, which can be described as an unbalanced compilation of the latest trends in auto design. According to the current fashion, the car has a pronounced two-volume exterior with a horizontal hood and an almost vertical (when viewed in profile) front part. The head lighting units graphically refer to the classic round headlights and, together with the decorative imitation of the radiator grill, form a single composition – reminiscent of the Ford Bronco Sport crossover. Also worth noting is the “floating” roof, massive C-pillar with silver lining, wave-shaped stamping on the sidewalls and retractable door handles (like Tesla).

Niutron NV salon and technical specifications will be revealed closer to the start of sales, which is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.
