Will take place in Geneva presentation of the new Hyundai concept called Prophecy. The electric car has a special mission: to reflect the evolution of “emotional” design language and set the direction for the development of the stylistics of future electric models.
The name of the Prophecy (in translation from English – the prophecy) symbolizes the true purpose of the concept, say Hyundai. Compact electric vehicle will determine the vector of development of design language “sensual sportiness” (Sensuous Sportiness) and become a “style icon” for the entire line of electric cars of South Korean brand.
“Prophecy does not follow the trends. He emphasizes the everlasting beauty that will stand the test of time, – says head of the center for global design Hyundai San yup Lee. His style is intended to raise design Hyundai to new horizons”.
The company focuses on the “beautiful silhouette”, “elegant lines”, “wide side rear body” and “pixel lights”, but provides no details about a technical stuffing. Perhaps the Prophecy is just a design study, not a running prototype. However, details will be announced on 3 March, when the Geneva international motor show open.
Last autumn in Frankfurt Hyundai showed a concept 45 EV, which was also the “symbolic milestone in the future design of electric cars Hyundai”. His style is a mixture of retro and futurism evolved from the design of the new “Sonata” and a concept Le Fil Rouge, but was more progressive, as if to emphasize the transition to the “electric mobility”.
