The organizers of the contest “North American car, the SUV and pickup truck of the year” (NACTOY) at a special event in Detroit called the winners. Among the cars took first place in the Corvette sports car the eighth generation.

In the category “Best crossover SUV” won a large SUV with eight-person cabin KIA Telluride, who was ahead on points Hyundai Palisade and the Lincoln Avaitor. Concerning the category of pickup trucks, it took first place in the Jeep Gladiator is, Ram Heavy Duty and Ford Ranger.
At the moment in the USA a pickup truck with a length of almost 5.2 m are available with a 3.6-liter atmospheric petrol engine Pentastar V6 that develops 288 HP and 353 N·m of torque. The unit works with a six-speed manual transmission or with vosmidiapazonnym “automatic”.
