The Dodge Challenger will be produced until 2023


The current Dodge Challenger is produced since 2008 and still shows good results of sales, so his successor will not appear until 2022.

A muscle car has not undergone significant changes since then, as Dodge introduced the third generation Challenger in 2008. Though the coupe received a substantial upgrade in 2015, which helped to revive sales, the company is not going to release a successor. As reports the edition Mopar Insiders, citing its own sources in the group Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the current Challenger will continue to be issued until 2023, remained on the line even after the start of production of the new model generation, which is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2022.


The fact that Dodge is seriously considering the release of the muscle current and the next generation at the Brampton Assembly plant in Canada together – at least for a few months. It is expected that the new Challenger will retain the style of the current coupe and for the first time in the history of the model to become a hybrid.
