The main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has resumed its own electronic services portal – the Driver’s Electronic Cabinet. It has been modernized and adapted for mobile devices.
Access to the Electronic Driver Cabinet was disabled in early February for the duration of the update. Today, the portal has resumed work with a new design, revised structure and enhanced protection against cyber threats, the SSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported.
“The previous online service was created four years ago to provide citizens with equally convenient access to the most popular services of the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And Ukrainians immediately felt its benefits, as it saved a lot of time and effort for customers. Also, during this period, we received a unique experience, hundreds of your reviews, went from implementing simple services to translating the most popular services into electronic format,” the message says.
At the moment, the Electronic Cabinet is working in test mode. The following services are available:
- Driver Card displays national and international driver’s license
- “Fleet” displays information about vehicles registered to individuals, marks about insurances and proper users, history of vehicle registrations
- “Fines” shows information about fines for traffic violations, where users will be able to pay them
- “Electronic queue” – here you can sign up for an electronic queue of one of the territorial service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of your choice
Within a few weeks, the driver’s electronic account will be filled with additional functions and services. They promise to resume full functionality in the second quarter of 2022.
