American studio Hennessey announced that all Venom F5 hypercars planned for release have found their owners, who have agreed to pay at least $ 2.1 million for the car.

According to Top Gear, this happened after the show of two commercial Venom F5 cars at the Monterey Car Week event. At the same time, at the moment, not all the capabilities of the Venom F5 hypercar have been demonstrated: the automaker is preparing several surprises.

In total, Hennessey plans to release only 24 copies of the Venom F5. The power unit for the new item was developed by the company’s specialists on the basis of the 8-cylinder block of the General Motors concern: the engine under the name Fury (“Fury”) with a working volume of 6.6 liters produces 1842 hp. and 1617 Nm of maximum torque. This should theoretically allow the new hypercar to overcome the 500 km / h mark, making it the fastest production car in the world.

But so far, Hennessey has only statements about preparations for setting a record: they were expressed, for example, in accelerating a hypercar to a speed of 320 km / h with a double derated engine. In addition, as noted by the head of the studio John Hennessy, the company is preparing several surprises for the owners of the hypercar, including “something literally out of this world.” The manufacturer intends to begin deliveries of commercial vehicles this year, and Hennessey specialists will finish assembling all 24 hypercars only in 2023.

Although it is definitely an unfinished replica, I would be interested in contact details, anyway. Maybe this could be an interesting project.
