The American automaker intends to launch an all-electric model in 2023.
During a press conference of the Stellantis alliance, it became known that in the first half of 2023, the American company Jeep will release its first ever electric car. Insiders claim that the novelty will be a completely new model that will replace the current Renegade, and not become an electric version of the Wrangler. The model will be unified with Alfa Romeo and Fiat, and its serial production will be launched in Poland.
Dodge will release the first plug-in hybrid in 2022, but what base it will be built on, Stellantis has not yet disclosed. The automaker only produces the Challenger coupe, the Charger sedan and the Durango crossover, and the company will most likely opt for an SUV. Since the roadmap in the presentation is only indicated until the first half of 2023, it does not include the already announced Dodge electric muscle car and Ram pickup.
