The Korean Car Blog has released a new spy photo of Genesis’s first all-electric crossover undergoing road tests. The novelty is expected to become the smallest crossover of the Korean premium brand and will debut in the coming months under the GV60 index.
The crossover has previously hit the lens of photo spies, but this time it changed its dense camouflage to a thin camouflage film. This allows you to see the “cut” roof of the car and the taillights, split in two like the optics of other crossovers of the brand – GV80 and GV70. Probably, the novelty will borrow key elements of the appearance from both older models and the conceptual city car Mint 2019.
The third Genesis crossover will be based on the E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) platform, which it will share with Hyundai’s Ioniq electric cars and the new battery-powered KIA EV6.
There is little other information about the third crossover of Hyundai’s premium subsidiary. It is known that the car will receive the function of express charging up to 100 kilometers in five minutes, four-wheel drive and a power reserve of up to 500 kilometers. The power plant can get the GV60 from the Ioniq 5, which in its most powerful version develops 306 horsepower and 605 Nm of torque and accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.2 seconds.
