Lexus will unveil the next generation LX flagship SUV on October 13, 2021. This is stated in the press service of the Japanese brand. The company also published the first teaser image of the back of the future car. Judging by it, the SUV will receive a different fifth door and L-shaped taillights, connected by an LED strip.

The car will be built on the GA-F platform, which is also used by the new Land Cruiser 300. The teaser shows a modification of the car under the LX600 index. According to Carscoops, this version of the SUV will be equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine.

The power of the unit will be 415 horsepower. Such an engine will work in conjunction with a 10-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. There is no official confirmation of this information yet.

Earlier it was reported about the hybrid power plant of the new LX based on the 3.5-liter V6 engine with two turbines from the Land Cruiser 300, which will operate with an electric motor. The total output of the units will be about 480 horsepower. It is expected that such a modification of the novelty will receive the LX750h index. The model will also keep the current 5.7-liter V8 engine in the lineup.
