The first sedan brand Wey seen on patent drawings

Concern GWM refused to release sedans in the 2010s, but returned to them with the Futurist concept (2020). Then the Wey brand promised to release two four-doors at once. Now one of them showed up in an application for the PRC Patent Office (CNIPA) without a name and specifications. It looks like a hybrid with the Lemon Hybrid DHT system.

Chinese media believe that the model is designed in retro style and refers to American muscle cars, such as the Peugeot e-Legend coupe. At the same time, the sedan received LED optics, retractable door handles (the rear doors open against the travel) and wheels with low rolling resistance.

Hybridity is given by the fuel and / or charging hatches on the stern on both sides. The quartets of round headlights and lanterns are reminiscent of the “second” Chevrolet Aveo hatchback (T300, 2011). Cameras are built into the mirrors.

A five-meter “limousine” would be suitable for an installation with a return of 435 hp, 300 Nm, consisting of a 1.5 petrol turbo four, an electric motor, a DHT130 “robot” and a 45 kWh battery. In this case, the electric range reaches 200 km (NEDC). The concept or commercial sedan is expected to premiere at Auto Guangzhou (November 19-28).

Although it is definitely an unfinished replica, I would be interested in contact details, anyway. Maybe this could be an interesting project.
