Bentley has offered few new options for the Flying Spur sedan, which after the production of the Mulsanne took the place of the flagship. From now on, “Spur” can be ordered with two individual seats in the second row and upholstery made of semi-aniline leather, plus the exterior colours and added new shades.
Two separate seats in the second row – the main innovation of the Bentley Flying Spur. On the center console in front of them mounted five-inch multimedia display, two Cup holders and an additional compartment for storing small things; in the armrest hidden USB ports and 12-volt outlet. Armrest, by the way, can be equipped with heating and wireless charging for smartphones, and the entire interior is generously decorate new upholstery with inlays of semi-aniline leather and hand-made cross-stitches, the total length of which reaches 115 meters.
The sedan also got a built-in backrests of front seats, the tables – they are lined with wood veneer and fitted with electric drives – and new wheel sensors grip, like the Continental GT. In addition to the “Spur” present new options decorative trims – carbon fiber under glossy lacquer and aluminium c pattern Cotes de Geneve as on expensive watches – and three new shades of colors, Viridian green, based on the color concept of the eXP 10 Speed 6, marsh Patina mother-of-pearl and white Snow Quartz.
The Bentley does not hide the fact that the interior of the new Flying Spur is the most difficult in the history of the company. Industry-first door panel of the car is decorated with insertions of three-dimensional texture of the skin and lining of the cabin takes more than three kilometers of thread. For the production we use a special needle, and the movement specialist so complex that they cannot be played back on any machine.
