The basic version of the “ultracar” will cost crazy money – 5,500,000 euros.
The Greek company SP Automotive will present a 3000-horsepower Chaos on November 1 this year. This is reported on the brand’s official Facebook page. Initially, they wanted to show the novelty at the Geneva Motor Show, but due to its cancellation, it was decided to make a presentation in an online format.
Developers call their project an ultracar. It is known that the basic configuration will cost 5,500,000 euros, the top-end one – 12,400,000 euros. The engine compartment will house a 4-liter V10 with two turbines. It has two boost levels: 2000 and 3000 hp. The power unit is combined with a robot for 8 gears. It is expected that a hundred hypercar will gain in 1.8 seconds and reach a maximum of 500 km / h.
However, 3000 horsepower is far from the limit for hypercars. For example, the Arabian Devel Sixteen, according to the developers, will produce 5000 hp. and even more so, and the top speed will exceed 550 km / h. The name of the coupe refers to the engine with which it is equipped – a 12.3-liter unit with 16 cylinders. But so far prototypes are being tested with much less return.
Acceptance of orders for the Devel Sixteen was officially opened in 2017, but then the engineers faced a number of problems: they had to seriously modify the aerodynamics. The final design has not yet been presented, and the cars are camouflaged during tests.
