The automaker from Ingolstadt plans to recruit a new Executive Director in the person of Marcus Dusmana responsible for the development of BMW engines.
As reported in the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, April 1, 2020 Dosmann will leave his post in the BMW will be the new head of the Audi. The Board of Directors of BMW will discuss the planned departure of its top Manager in the near future, Reuters reports.
It is reported that the Volkswagen Group is looking for someone with experience with environmentally friendly power plants, as he continues to recover from the scandal desligada. The former CEO of Audi and member of the Board of Directors of the group, Rupert Stadler was forced to temporarily retire in June 2018 after he was arrested during the investigation of the scandal, dubbed the “Deselect” and the former commercial Director of the brand was temporarily named the new Executive Director of the company.
Interestingly, Dosmann was the goal of Volkswagen for some time, and in July last year it was reported that he was bought from BMW. Apparently, however, the recruitment process has been significantly delayed. Various media reported that the current contract with BMW top-Manager is not terminated until September 30, 2019, so it is still working for the Bavarian automaker.
