Today Lordstown Motors has released a series of render images of a fully electric pickup truck Endurance, which was presented in last month. In the presented rendering it is possible to note a fairly simple wheel with a few buttons, a long and narrow instrument panel that is integrated with the infotainment display.
Located on the center console the main controls settings, as well as a place for your phone and Cup holders. Design and create a prototype vehicle in partnership with the California lab Hydra Design Labs.
It should be noted that the design of the interior looks quite restrained and without excess, but it’s understandable the fact that the company was planning to release a budget truck for work.
However, what caught our attention in the information from the manufacturer, it’s part of customer delivery. The company said that Endurance “plans to begin deliveries to customers next summer,” which, if we correctly understand, is the second delay.
Summer 2021 sounds more reasonable, since the deadline 2020/2021 year was unusual. It is easy to design a pickup truck and to start production within a year or so. Now it is still ambitious and difficult, but not so extreme. Moreover, we note that the company has already received more than 20,000 pre-orders with no obligation for the novelty.
