Lamborghini often hides its plans for the future, but earlier this year the company confirmed that it will unveil two V12 models in 2021. One is the latest version of the Aventador, and the other will be its powerful hybrid successor.
Lamborghini has posted a new teaser image on Twitter that is a preview of one of these models, the latest Aventador.
It depicts a pair of cars driving on a winding road, in the dark, headlights glowing, but specific design details are hard to see. The novelty looks like a Lamborghini Aventador.
A May spy video showed a mysterious and partially disguised Aventador testing. It had the entire front end hidden, along with side sills, rear fenders and upper rear air intakes. The rear of the coupe had an SVJ exhaust and diffuser, while the rest of the car looked like a Lamborghini Aventador S. The coverings cleverly concealed the design changes. They remained hidden in the new teaser image, although it is unclear if they are related.
Rumored to be the Aventador S Jota, which is about to become the most powerful Aventador ever. The supercharged 6.5-liter V12 is expected to produce 769 horsepower. Lamborghini will make other changes to the drivetrain and chassis to further improve the model’s performance, but this remains a mystery.
We won’t have to wait long to find out all the juicy details. Lamborghini provided the presentation date along with a teaser – July 7, less than a week left until that.
