The most popular pickup truck in the United States remains the Ford F-150, but the Ram brand holds the lead in the luxury truck segment. The starting point is 2012, when the Limited model 1500 debuted. For the decade of “leadership in the world of luxury pickup trucks”, the company has prepared a special edition of the 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition of the 2022 model year, for the interior of which only premium materials are used: metal, natural wood and leather.
The Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition is the most expensive in the family, apart from the 1500 TRX. A pickup in the exclusive Blue Shade color, with a multifunctional door, Mopar rear step and adjustable load hooks, will set you back a minimum of $ 60,175. The vehicle is exclusively available with a Crew Cab, but there is no choice of engines.
The first is a petrol HEMI V8 5.7 with eTorque mild hybrid technology. This unit develops 400 horsepower and 556 Nm of torque and is paired with an eight-band TorqueFlite automatic. The second is the EcoDiesel V6 3.0 diesel with 264 horsepower and 651 Nm of torque. The main differences from the usual Limited are hidden in the interior: the upholstery of the seats and doors with quilted leather, the suede ceiling and the anniversary plaque on the center console.
The interior uses the new Indigo / Sea Salt Gray color scheme combined with Aluminum Litho accents. Unique pattern on center cover for transmission selector washer. The anniversary pickup also features 12-inch Uconnect multimedia, a 19-speaker premium audio system and metal pedals.
The most expensive variant of the Ram 1500 is the stand-alone 1500 TRX. Such a pickup truck is equipped with a reinforced suspension with electronically controlled Bilstein Black Hawk e2 struts, a compressor HEMI V8 6.2, developing 712 horsepower and 881 Nm of torque, an eight-band TorqueFlite 8HP95 automatic transmission and a BorgWarner 48-13 transfer case with a 2.64: 1 reduction range for rock crawling. Ram 1500 TRX is priced at $ 70,425.
