Organization of technical supervision of Germany published a list of the most reliable crossovers as of 2019. In this rating were 11 cars up to 11 years.

According to the publication Auto Bild, rating, conducted in the framework of the project TUV-Report 2020, based on the results of the inspection of the technical state of 9 million vehicles. The experts examined the strengths and weaknesses of these machines, carried out the necessary calculations, and then posted the best of them in five age categories – cars aged 2-3 years, 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 8-9 years and 10-11 years. In each category was included for 3 cars, which proved to be the best way (and some cars fell into two or more categories).

In the end we got the results:

Car age 2-3 years

  • Mercedes GLC (2015 – present).
  • Mazda CX-3 (2015 – present).
  • Audi Q5 (2008 – 2016)

Auto age 4-5 years

  • Opel Mokka (2012 – 2019)
  • Audi Q5 (2008 – 2016)
  • Mitsubishi ASX (2010 – present)

Auto age 6-7 years

  • Audi Q5 (2008 – 2016)
  • Mazda CX-5 (2012 – 2017)
  • Mini Countryman (2010 – 2017)
  • Auto age 8-9 years
  • BMW X1 (2009 – 2015)
  • Audi Q5 (2008 – 2016)
  • Honda CR-V (2006 – 2012)

Auto age 10-11 years

  • Honda CR-V (2006 – 2012)
  • VW Tiguan (2007 – 2016)
  • BMW X3 (2003 to 2010)

As you can see, best of all showed Audi its Q5 crossover hit in 4 of 5 categories. Also on the General background are allocated BMW (two models in two categories X1 and X3) and Honda (one model in two categories).

All of these cars, the experts generally noted as a very reliable: those that do not break and do not rust.
