The National Police of Kiev and the regions received several dozen new cars. The equipment was purchased through tenders, and also received from international partners from the EU.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine Auto with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The vehicle fleet of the National Police of Kiev has been replenished with 21 new service vehicles. Among them are Citroen C-Elysee and Jumpy, Peugeot 301, Renault Duster and Suzuki SX4. Within the framework of the Safe Capital system, these vehicles will enter service – they are intended for visits by investigators and operatives.

In addition, the Mariupol criminal police units received 20 Nissan Patrol SUVs. The vehicles were handed over to the EU Advisory Mission in Ukraine.

The same organization donated 10 Renault Trafic-based forensic laboratories to Ukraine.

Special mobile laboratories for forensic science were acquired as part of a package of measures to support Ukraine from the European Union, in particular, the PRAVO-Police program with the support of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the EU Advisory Mission to Ukraine.

Mobile laboratories were received by criminologists from nine regions of Ukraine – Kiev, Odessa, Lvov, Kirovograd, Vinnitsa, Khmelnytsky, Poltava and Chernivtsi. One of these laboratories will be transferred to the General Directorate of Investigation of the National Police.
