This sleek sports car was dubbed by foreign media as “the muscular Italian rival of the BMW M2”.
Automobile designer Guilherme Araujo presented his vision of the Italian sports coupe performed by GTS. Renders show what a rival BMW M2 from Alfa Romeo might look like.
The car is dubbed the GTS and has a gorgeous retro styling that is very different from other current Alfa Romeo models, but still identifies as the Italian automaker’s car.
For the headlights, the artist chose a set of simple round lights with round LED DRLs. The car also features Alfa Romeo’s signature grille and angular bumper. The stunning coupé line continues over the front wheel arches and the bonnet, which includes a large air vent for improved aerodynamics and cooling.
The profile of the GTS is as great as the front end. There is a pronounced shoulder line stretching from the headlights to the taillights, as well as cameras instead of traditional rear-view mirrors. The rear wheel arches are also particularly pronounced. Aft you will notice simple LED taillights and a diffuser.
Guilherme Araujo didn’t design the car with any particular engine in mind, but if Alfa Romeo built a coupe that looked like this, with a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 from Giulia Quadrifoglio, it could be one of the best. sports cars in the world.
