The American firm vonMercier presented a very unusual supercar called Arosa. The car can swim, it was equipped with two blowers on the sides and an air cushion. Thanks to this, the car can actually move above the ground and on the water.
Arosa is designed with two massive blowers that provide excess air pressure under the vehicle’s underbody (the air is retained there by a rubber skirt around the perimeter). Thus, the car essentially hovers above the surface, which allows it to move not only above the ground, but also above the water.
The exterior styled like futuristic asphalt supercars and elements of nautical design – small areas along the sides, trimmed with wood, are designed to emphasize the possibility of the multi-purpose use of the car. The controls of the novelty are also a combination of automotive and yachting.
The Arosa convertible is driven by a hybrid power plant consisting of three electric motors and one gasoline engine. Other technical characteristics of the car have not yet been disclosed.
This time, the manufacturer showed the final design of the Arosa supercar. However, the circulation of the model is still unknown, just as its cost is not known.
