The new BMW 7 Series premium sedan has been spotted by photo spies. As it became known, the novelty is almost ready for serial production, and at the moment the car is undergoing a series of final tests. This is evidenced by spy photos, which show that the sedan is still in camouflage, but there is very little of it left.
The front bumper of the novelty received a lower air intake of a complex shape, combined with air ducts for cooling the brake system. No lower lip or splitter is expected. Through the camouflage, you can see the modified head optics: running lights are made in the form of horizontal stripes and are located above the narrow block of headlights.
The rear of the new BMW 7 Series is nothing new. It can be seen that twin trapezoidal exhaust pipes are installed along the edges of the bumper.
According to the Central News Service, a large range of power plants will be available for the car, for example, a plug-in hybrid. Presumably, the hybrid power plant will produce 560 hp. Fans of electric cars from the German manufacturer expect that the top version of the BMW i7 M60 will be equipped with an electrical installation of two electric motors with a total capacity of 650 hp
The flagship sedan of the new generation will be equipped with advanced security systems and assistants. In addition, according to unofficial data, the BMW 7 Series will receive Level 3 driving autonomy. Buyers will also appreciate premium trim materials and two large contrast displays (dashboard and media system).
More details and full technical data will be announced closer to the premiere date of the new generation BMW 7 Series.
