We have already talked about the fact that Audi is working on a new crossover, which will be the largest and most expensive in the SUV lineup. The car will be positioned one step higher than the Audi Q7. On the eve of the prototype of the novelty hit the lenses of photo spies on the Nürburgring track (Germany).

It is not easy to fully assess how the Audi Q9 will look due to the abundance of camouflage on its body. However, as noted by the Dutch edition “AutoWeek”, the proportions of the car will be similar to the full-size crossover Volkswagen Teramont / Atlas. Q9 can also borrow the platform from him.

The crossover will have a branded large-area grille, as well as a raised hood and protruding undershooting on the doors.

The first rumors about the appearance of a new crossover in the Audi lineup appeared back in 2013, when the Ingolstadt concern filed a patent for the Q9 index. In March, the car was spotted on the first road tests, and at the end of September, the Audi Q9 was spotted on the roads of China. Now they decided to test the car at the Nürburgring race track.

When the premiere of the novelty will take place, as well as what its technical side will be, it has not yet been announced.
