Photospin managed to shoot test trials of the Skoda Fabia hatchback of the fourth generation. The car was spotted on public roads in the Czech Republic. In the photos published by the portal Auto.cz the car is presented without camouflage. According to them, the premiere of the new product may take place in the next few months.
Judging by the pictures, the model will increase in size compared to its predecessor. The test prototype has fully led optics installed. Most likely, the photo spies managed to capture the Fabia in an expensive configuration.
Also in the photos, you can see a large spoiler above the Luggage compartment door. As for the interior of the five-door hatchback, it will resemble the Scala and Kamiq models.
The fourth Skoda Fabia will be built on the MQB-A0 platform, already used on the new Volkswagen Polo, SEAT Ibiza and Audi A1. In addition to the hatchback, the model will also be available in a station wagon. However, the premiere of this version of the car will take place a little later.
All technical characteristics of the car are still kept secret. It is expected that the engine range will be represented by three-cylinder naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines, which, depending on the modification, will work with a manual transmission or with a robotic transmission with two clutches.
Also, the novelty will have a modification on gas. At the same time, the new Fabia will not have diesel units due to strict regulations on the amount of harmful emissions.
