The new generation Volkswagen Golf GTI is a tough test

Charged hatchback Volkswagen Golf GTI noticed during the tests under harsh conditions. It is anticipated that the eighth generation model will be released next summer.

In October, the German automaker revealed eighth-generation Golf in Germany. The test car was tested without camouflage, as appearance has no special differences. The overall design of the exterior of the Golf GTI is similar to a standard model, there is a difference only in the form of a grille.

You may also notice the new logo and Volkswagen. However, the signature elements of a GTI like red stripe on the radiator grille, seen on the test car did not succeed. Nevertheless, this is exactly the “charged” version that has red brake calipers, bucket seats and other items. On the back of the car, you notice the dual exhaust pipes, the symbol of the power of the GTI.

Eighth generation Volkswagen Golf GTI equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. It is expected that the power plant will produce a maximum output of about 300 horsepower. The new generation model will be released next summer, and actual delivery of the copies to customers expected to begin by year-end.
